Authentication

Clevername uses Supabase Authfor account management. Your credentials are handled by Supabase — Clevername never stores your password directly. Two sign-up paths are offered on the same page: Sign up with Google (the top button) and email + password below it. There is no CAPTCHA on signup.

After the account exists you can add a passkey— Face ID, Touch ID, or Windows Hello — and TOTP-based MFA from Settings. Once a passkey is registered, the login page tries it first after you enter your email, with “Use password instead” always available as a fallback.

Step-by-Step Guide

Go to the signup page

Navigate to clevername.net and click Get Started or pick a plan from the pricing page. Free, Pro, and Team all start from the same signup form; the plan you picked is carried through and used to open checkout after your account is created.

Click Get Started from the homepage to begin creating your account.

Sign up with Google, or with email and password

The fastest path is Sign up with Google at the top of the form. To use email instead, fill in your email address and a password of at least 12 characters— a strength meter under the field rates it as you type. Creating an account accepts the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, both linked beneath the form.

Google OAuth sits above the email and password fields — either path creates the same account.

Important

If you see “Signups are not open at this time”, the closed beta is still active and your email is not on the allowlist yet. Nothing is wrong with your details — email support@clevername.net to be added. While signups are fully closed the page shows a waitlist form instead of the signup fields.

Confirm your email if prompted

Depending on how your account is provisioned, you will either be signed in immediately or shown a Check your emailscreen. In the second case, open the link we sent to activate the account — it returns you to Clevername signed in.

Note

If you don't see the email, check your spam folder. It is sent from a @clevername.netaddress. You can also finish in a different tab or browser — the plan you signed up for is carried across the confirmation link, not held in the original tab.

Add a passkey (optional)

Once the account exists, Clevername offers to register a passkey so you can sign in with your device's biometrics instead of typing a password. Click Add passkey to set one up, or Skip for now— you can add one later from Settings, and skipping does not limit anything.

Finish in the welcome wizard

New accounts land on the welcome wizard, which walks through four steps: Connect (point your IDE or agent at the hub), Encrypt (optionally set a passphrase for agent I/O logs), Add Keys (your own provider keys — Clevername is BYOK), and You're set. Every step can be skipped and revisited later from the dashboard.

Explore the dashboard

From the dashboard you can create governed agents, add and bind provider keys, browse integrations, and review your audit trail. If you signed up for Pro or Team, checkout opens before the dashboard so the plan is active from your first request.
